Hippocrates was an ancient Greek physician and is considered as one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine. 

 

What has changed? A lot you rightfully say! The way we grow food, the way we process it and the way we eat. 

 

However, we must change our attitude towards food. Everything is readily available, in enormous portions, processed and full of chemicals. Believe me, I could write a book about this subject! It really is no rocket science, good food choices - back to basics and a balanced diet plus exercise, that's the key. It's called "common sense".

I am simply a big believer of balance. There has to be balance - it's not a problem if you drink alcohol, it's not a problem to eat junk food every now and then, chocolate, too rich and sugary foods (and drinks)....but we all know how it makes us feel after indulgingL sluggish, tired, sore muscles and unmotivated.....So we should pick ourselves up the next day and do better: Lots of veggies, fruit, water, herbal or unsweetened fruit teas - your body will thank you for it.

You only have this one body to live in, so treat it right. 

 

Lots of people say, it is too expensive to eat healthy. I don't agree. Being organised and preparation is the key. We can help you with that as well - get back on track with your shopping, your pantry, your cooking, your life! We are all busy, but with a bit of thought and maybe some help, it's possible to change.
